Foody Duty: Arts District L.A.
icecream, exotic meats & pie you have to try
It’s no surprise that LA’s Arts District is one of our favorite spots to kick it. We even did our Holiday 2017 look book shoot there while walking around our go-to stops! The Arts District is much more than a cool place to get lost. When it comes to putting your hashtags where your appetite is, this part of Los Angeles is a real treat. Next time you’re in the area, check out one of these unique options! (all photos are sourced from each company’s IG accounts)
I bet you don’t think you’re craving exotic meats and imported beers, but once you step into Wurstküche, all bets are off. Yes, the menu has sausage made of rattlesnake and rabbit… but it also has vegetarian and classic options. There’s something for everyone here!
Pies of all forms are made at The Pie Hole. Their menu has sweet & savory options that could fill up your breakfast, lunch and dinner plans for a whole day! Oh, and don’t overlook the beverage selection– they have killer coffee options, too.
If you’re feelin’ fancy and in need of an artisanal cocktail, Church & State is your solution. It’s easy to get lost while skimming through their menu, but make sure you keep the cocktail one close if you want a pretty drink link the one below.
Ok, this place is dope. They even have a walk-up window to order food while slingin’ back brews at The Arts District Brewing Co., the best option in town for local beer & classic ski ball. Chicken dominates the menu in the best way possible. It’s almost a crime to come to the Arts District and not stop in.
ICE CREAM! If you’re looking for typical vanilla and chocolate options, maybe find some other spot. But you’ll totally regret it! The menu ranges from Avocado & Oaxacan Chocolate Fudge to Honey
